November 1st marked another sad day in the North County San Diego Bicycle industry. Established in 1972, El Camino Bike Shop has closed the doors after providing the North County San Diego community 24 years of bicycle sales and service. According to a conversation we had with the owner, a combination of ever increasing rents, never fully recovering from the "Vid" madness and the massive Trek Corporate store just down the way, the financials no loner made sense. 

We know they had a very great loyal customer base that no longer has a "go to" bicycle shop.  Although we are not in the business of selling bicycles (we do but order only), we do want to offer customers of El Camino Bike Shop an option for their service needs. 

Customers can venture down to the Coast and show us a copy of this blog post when checking in and we will offer you a 25% off on parts for your first service ticket. Allow us the opportunity to earn your business going forward!
